How It Works
Step 1: Click the "Post a Job" button anywhere on the site. Fill in your school name, the position title, salary range, and a brief description of the role.
Step 2: Our review team checks every submission. We verify the employer exists, the role is legitimate, and the listing includes clear information about compensation and expectations.
Step 3: Once approved, your listing goes live immediately. It appears on our jobs page sorted by date, visible to thousands of daily visitors. You will start receiving applications from qualified candidates within hours.
What to Include in Your Listing
The best-performing job listings share a few things in common. They are specific about what they offer and what they expect. Based on what teachers tell us they want to see, include:
- A clear hourly or monthly salary range — vague phrases like "competitive pay" get fewer clicks
- Student age group and class size — teachers want to know if they will be teaching children, teenagers, or adults
- Required certification level — be upfront about whether TESOL, CELTA, or a degree is mandatory
- Peak teaching hours — teachers planning their schedules need to know if your time zone aligns with theirs
- Materials and curriculum — do you provide lesson plans, or will teachers need to prepare their own?
Who We Reach
Our traffic comes from teachers across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, and other English-speaking countries. They range from newly certified instructors looking for their first online position to veterans with thousands of teaching hours under their belts. Most hold a 120-hour TESOL or TEFL certificate as a minimum qualification. Many have bachelor's degrees; some hold master's degrees in applied linguistics or education.
The ESL teaching job market has grown significantly in recent years, and qualified teachers are selective about where they apply. A well-written listing that includes specific salary information and realistic expectations will attract more and better applicants.
